A Modern Take On The Day Of Love, Valentine's Day.

" Shot by Andrea from The Love Studio the creative team at Devoted To You Inc. and Sara Baig Designs collaborated to create a modern and romantic Valentines Day Soiree. Shot in the historic and unique Toronto venue – The Carlu the design was a step away from the traditional bold red.

The candle wall at the Sky Room created the perfect backdrop for this modern tablescape, inspired by this years Pantone colours Rose Quartz and Serenity. Creative director, Sara Baig incorporated architectural elements of modern design by layering textures and different materials. The crisp white geometric vases reflected modern skylines softened by lush cascading florals at varying heights and punctuated by taper candles.

For place settings, they picked faux marble plates layered on top of timber charger plates finished with delicately carved, hand fired ceramic plates from Plate Occasions , accentuated by the gold flatware from Event Rental Group.

Sharon from Bloom Cake Co. created gorgeous honeycomb patterned mini cakes with sugar sculpted cake toppers adding a dramatic textural layer to each place setting. Christa from Anista Designs created the beautiful gold foil stationery inspired by the grandiose architectural layout of the Palace of Versailles. The consistent theme of texture and layering was flawlessly executed by a mix of elegant and playful wardrobe styled by the producer of this shoot, Carmen from Devoted to You. "
